Buna Rubber Resin Balls
Nitrile rubber, also known as Buna-N, Perbunan, or NBR, is a synthetic rubber copolymer of acrylonitrile (ACN) and butadiene. Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) is typically resistant to oil, fuel, and other chemicals— it is more resistant than natural rubber to oils and acids but has lesser strength and flexibility. It can be attached by ozone, aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, and aldehydes.
NBR’s capability to endure a range of temperatures from -40ºC to +108ºC makes it a perfect material for aeronautical applications. Other uses of nitrile rubber include non-latex gloves for the healthcare trade, automotive transmission belts, fuel and oil handling hoses, grommets, O-rings, gaskets, oil seals, V-belts, synthetic leather, printer’s roller, and as cable jacketing. Our inventory of Buna rubber balls are available in a variety of diameter sizes from 3/16" to 1.5 inches.
